As part of a management restructure Newsquest has made changes to its operation:

Michael Purton has been named as Group Deputy Editor for Worcester News and its associated weekly titles (Newsquest Midlands South & Gloucestershire), taking on John Wilson‘s titles. He can be found tweeting @MichaelPurton.

John Wilson will take up the editorship of Gloucestershire County Gazette, Stroud News & Journal, Wilts & Glos Standard and Newsquest’s Herefordshire weeklies, covering Michael’s previous positions. John can be found tweeting @johnwilsonWN.

Both changes will take effect from 25 September.
