Telegraph to launch ‘Living’ section

The Telegraph Media Group is set to launch a ‘Living’ section in The Sunday Telegraph from 16 November 2014.

It will include an expanded Sunday TV guide, showcase digital entertainment content and incorporate existing online lifestyle, property and gardening stories.

The section will be split into six core areas – food and drink, property, gardening, entertainment, active and heritage – with each containing the strongest digital stories of the week. Editorial changes include moving property to the middle of the section and expanded interiors coverage. This allows topical lifestyle features to take centre stage, including entertainment stories, each week.

There will be an increased focus on entertainment content towards the back of the section also to create a clearer, more coherent transition to the TV listings, which will see the introduction of a more comprehensive Sunday TV and radio guide and expanded highlights of the coming week.

The ‘Living’ section will replace the Life and Seven supplements, merging them into the publication. It will be produced by the newly-merged Life and Saturday Weekend desks.
