Financial Times has installed David Bond as Security and Defence Editor.

A direct replacement will not be appointed. Matthew Garrahan is the Financial Times Global Media Editor, based in London.
Previous Security Editor Sam Jones is now on extended study leave from the FT, and will be back in 2018.
