FT-backed site Sifted launches
The Financial Times has confirmed its financial backing of Sifted, a launching media site for Europe’s innovators and entrepreneurs.
Founded by the FT’s innovation editor John Thornhill and staffed by a team of reporters across Europe, Sifted aims to provide FT-calibre news and analysis with a European perspective.
Sifted will appoint several additional tech reporters across Europe over the next few weeks and expects to double in size this year.
