ITV News appoints UK editor

ITV News has appointed Rohit Kachroo as UK editor to lead coverage and provide analysis on crime, terror and home affairs news. He will also work on long form reports for the Tonight programme and current affairs strand 'On Assignment' for ITV.  

Kachroo is currently Africa correspondent at ITV News. He has previously worked as a reporter and crime correspondent for ITV News Midlands and originally started his career as a reporter at ITV Central.
