Coventry Telegraph appoints editor

The Coventry Telegraph has appointed Keith Perry as editor.

Perry is currently football editor at the Birmingham Mail. He starts as editor on 2 February, succeeding Alun Thorne.

The move marks a return for Perry to the Coventry Telegraph. He had been sports editor at the title before moving to the Birmingham Mail in October 2014.

As well as the Mail, he has previously worked for the Derby Telegraph, Leicester Mercury, Sunday Mercury and freelanced for The Sun, Daily Mail and Daily Express.
