Square Up Media launches Foodism

Square Up Media has launched Foodism, a website and weekly newsletter which explores food trends, bars and restaurants.

The title will have a worldwide focus and aims to bring a sense of "excitement and adventure" into the kitchen. There will also be some focus on London’s food scene including tips from some of the city’s chefs and mixologists.

Foodism’s content will also feature in print in a dedicated section of Escapism, Square Up Media’s free monthly travel magazine.

The platform will be created by the editorial team behind Escapism including editor Jon Hawkins who said: “Food and travel go hand in hand, and after launching Escapism to a great response we were eager to bring the same insight, vibrancy and spirit of adventure to the culinary world. With Foodism, we're doing exactly that.”

The first Foodism pages appeared in issue four of Escapism, published on 26 November. The first newsletter goes out today, 4 December.
