Hayden Smith becomes PA’s home affairs correspondent

Press Association has appointed Hayden Smith as home affairs correspondent, replacing Jamie Grierson, who moved to The Guardian last month as breaking news reporter.

Smith previously served as general news reporter at the news agency, and before that, he worked at the Metro. He will take up his new role on 11 May.
