Upcoming editorial change at Financial Times
The Financial Times has appointed Chris Adams as energy editor. Adams is currently markets editor at the newspaper. He will start the new role on 18 November.
As energy editor, he will oversee the FT's global coverage of energy, covering issues such as multinational integrated oil companies, the politics and geopolitics of energy, government policy, energy security and competition issues, and the impact of price moves on the economy.
A replacement for Adams as markets editor is yet to be confirmed.
