Daily Express assistant editor to depart for Number 10 role

The Daily Express‘ assistant editor (news) Greg Swift will leave the paper on 3 May to become deputy spokesman for the Prime Minister. Swift has been at the Daily Express for nearly 20 years, first as a reporter and then as news editor before taking up his current position.
