Editorial changes at London Evening Standard’s ES Magazine
ES Magazine has bolstered its editorial team ahead of its re-launch in February 2016:
Samuel Fishwick has been promoted to the new role of features writer, covering arts, culture and social trends. He will also edit the social pages.
Anish Patel has been promoted from junior fashion editor to the newly created role of menswear and grooming editor
Sophie Paxton has been promoted from junior fashion editor to merchandise editor.
Lily Worcester has joined the team on a permanent basis as lifestyle assistant.
Anna van Praagh has been named features director. Previously assistant editor of The Daily Mail’s Femail section, Anna has also worked at the Sunday Telegraph News Review and Stella magazine.
Rasha Kahil has joined as art director.
Tilly Macalister-Smith has joined the magazine in the newly created role of fashion features director. As the magazine increases its coverage of fashion and accessories, Tilly will be responsible for all style-related editorial copy.
Katie Service, previously acting beauty editor at InStyle and deputy beauty editor of The Sunday Times Style, has joined as beauty editor.
Nicky Yates remains in her role of fashion director and continues to lead the fashion team.
Alice-Azania Jarvis and Dipal Acharya remain features editor and commissioning editor respectively.
Jenny Kennedy remains as junior fashion editor.
Laura Weir remains editor, after joining the team in September 2015.
