Financial Times appoints former Reuters editor as UK news editor

Financial Times has appointed Michael Stott as UK news editor.
Stott will begin his role on 1 January, overseeing the FT's UK coverage in digital and print. He left Reuters in July after 26 years at the news service, where he had been EMEA regional editor and global news editor.
The Financial Times' current UK news editor Andrew Ward will take on the global role of pharmaceuticals correspondent.
