Financial Times appoints US managing editor
The Financial Times has appointed Gillian Tett as US managing editor, overseeing the FT's print and online editions in the Americas.
Tett previously held the role of US managing editor before becoming the FT's markets and finance commentator and an assistant editor. She replaces Martin Dickson who retires after 37 years at the Financial Times.
Tett will begin her role from 1 September and will continue her twice-weekly FT column.
