Kevin Eason to leave The Times
The Times‘ long serving Motor Racing Correspondent Kevin Eason is set to leave the News UK title after 28 years. Eason joined The Times in 1989 working on politics and industry, including the motor industry.
In 1998 he switched to sport and has covered 18 seasons of Formula One, picking up numerous awards including the Silverstone award for best F1 coverage.
He leaves next week and his successor Rebecca Clancy will take up the role in January 2017. Eason, although retiring, is lining up work as a freelancer and can be contacted on eason52@aol.com.
