Political manoeuvres between The Economist and the FT
The Economist has appointed John McDermott as public policy editor.
McDermott joins on 15 February from his political correspondent role at Financial Times, and has also previously served as executive comment editor at FT.
Financial Times has appointed Henry Mance as his replacement in the political correspondent position.
