Sarah Cox to present Drivetime show on BBC Radio 2

BBC Radio 2 has confirmed that Sarah Cox will take over the weekday Drivetime show, with Trevor Nelson moving to present the 10pm – midnight programme. Sarah currently presents the 10pm – midnight show from Monday to Thursday and will take over the 5pm – 7pm slot in the New Year, following confirmation of Simon Mayo’s departure. The show will contain listener interaction, music and chat. Trevor’s Rhythm Nation show moves from Saturday Nights, 8pm – 10pm to each Monday – Thursday night and will continue to bring listeners soul, R ‘n’ B, Dance, Disco and Reggae. He will still present on BBC Radio 1Xtra Saturday and Sunday 4pm – 7pm.
