Editorial changes at The Wall Street Journal

The Wall Street Journal has appointed Sara Muñoz as European banking editor to oversee the London-based banking reporters as well as writing regular content on European banks.

Munoz will be based in London and begins in the role in June, having previously served as the Bogota-based Latin America correspondent at The Wall Street Journal. She can be found tweeting @sarasmunoz.

James Willhite has been appointed as news editor for The Wall Street Journal’s Money and Investing team to focus on editing stories across the investing, markets and banking sectors.

Willhite also begins in June having previously worked as an editor for The Wall Street Journal’s CFO Journal, and can be found tweeting @jimwillhite.

Anuj Gangahar, the current European investing editor for The Wall Street Journal, will now also oversee coverage of mergers and acquisitions across Europe in an extension to his current responsibilities.

Gangahar has been in his current role since July 2014 and can be found tweeting @AnujG1.
