Newsweek reorginises European edition

Newsweek, the US based global news agency has announced that Newsweeks EMEA (Europe/ Middle East/ Africa) edition will now fall under the guidance of the US team and editor-in-chief, Jim Impoco.

Richard Addis is stepping down from his role as editor-in-chief but will continue to play an advisary role at IBT Media UK.

The print edition, based in London, was relaunched by IBT Media in March last year. Around eight journalists will continue to be based there working on the website.
