Changes to the political team at the Telegraph
Telegraph Media Group has expanded its political team.
Owen Bennett, currently head of politics at City A.M., will join as Whitehall editor in August. Owen has worked as a political journalist in Westminster for a range of national newspapers and is the author of three books, including the upcoming biography of Michael Gove.
Amy Jones, currently a features writer at The Sun, will join as political correspondent in late Summer.
Anna Mikhailova, previously political correspondent at the Telegraph, has been promoted to acting deputy political editor.
Danielle Sheridan, previously assistant news editor at the Telegraph, has been promoted to political correspondent.
They join the existing team of political editor Gordon Rayner, chief political correspondent Christopher Hope, and associate editor Camilla Tominey.
