Regional and global editors appointed at Reuters

Reuters has made several changes to its editorial team:

Simon Robinson, previously EMEA regional editor, has been promoted to global managing editor.

Paritosh Bansal, previously managing editor for news in the Americas, has been appointed finance and markets editor.

Mark Bendeich, previously Southern Europe bureau chief, has been appointed Europe news editor.

Kieran Murray, previously Washington bureau chief, has been appointed U.S./Canada news editor.

Finally, Simon Webb, previously global trade editor, has been appointed commodities and energy editor.
