Telegraph appoints group chief information officer and content editor
The Telegraph Media Group has appointed Jon Brendsel as group chief information officer.
Brendsel is currently vice president at Public Broadcasting Service (PBS), and has over 25 years’ experience in the industry, having previously worked AOL for six years.
He takes up the position in January 2014 and will report to the Telegraph’s chief executive Murdoch MacLenann, joining the senior management team.
The publisher has also appointed Andy Hooper as content editor.
Hooper is returning to the Telegraph having left MSN UK last month.
