Upcoming schedule changes at BBC Radio 1
BBC Radio 1 has announced a number of changes to its schedule.
From early June 2015, Adele Roberts will be moving from 1Xtra to Radio 1 to present the Early Breakfast Show (weekdays, 4-6:30am), replacing Gemma Cairney who will become Radio 1's "social action presenter, hosting The Surgery (Wednesdays, 9-10pm) alongside Dr Radha, as well as presenting special documentaries for Radio 1 and 1Xtra Stories (Tuesday, 9-10pm)."
At 1Xtra, this change will lead to Jamz Supernova presenting a weekly RnB show on Saturday afternoon (4-7pm). A.Dot will become the presenter of the 1-4pm weekend show.
