Adam Boulton steps down as Sky News political editor

Sky News political editor Adam Boulton is stepping down from the role after 25 years to anchor an evening show on the network.

Boulton's programme will broadcast weeknights on the Sky News channel and be based at its Westminster studio. It will launch later this year and feature interviews, analysis and interactive elements.

Boulton will also take on the role of editor-at-large. He has worked at Sky News since its inception in 1989.
