Daily Post appoints Mark Thomas as editor

Daily Post has appointed Mark Thomas as editor. He will start at the paper later this month.

Thomas replaces Alison Gow, who has been appointed editor, digital content innovation at Trinity Mirror. She will combine the position with the role of deputy digital publishing director for Trinity Mirror's regional brands including Western Mail, Manchester Evening News and the Liverpool Echo.
