ESI creates senior editorial position

ESI (Evening Standard and Independent Group) has created the role of group multi-media head of business.

The senior editorial executive position is being created to oversee a multi-media business operation for ESI, in response to the recent launch of its London Live TV channel and increased distribution of the Evening Standard across London.

Group managing director Andrew Mullins said: “It is one of the most exciting media developments for many years with print, digital and now television coming from one editorial operation. The new role will encapsulate this new vision and maximise the potential of our multi-platform publishing group.”
