The Sun on Sunday appoints assistant picture editor
The Sun on Sunday has appointed Irfan Cemal as assistant picture editor.
He joins the paper from the Sunday People where he was deputy picture editor. Previously a copytaker at the Daily Mirror, Cemal worked his way up to the picture desk before moving to its sister title in 2004.
Cemal’s appointment is the latest move in the News UK paper's makeover under recently-appointed editor Victoria Newton.
