Evening Standard online sports team doubles for the Premier League
Evening Standard has expanded its online sports team in a bid to enhance live match coverage of the Premier League, alongside coverage of Spain’s La Liga division.
The team welcomes Digital Production Assistant Tony Mogan as well as Live Writers Joe Krishnan and Malik Ouzia.
An additional three appointments made outside London include James Robson, who has covered Manchester City and Manchester United for 11 years, David Lynch, who previously worked on Liverpool FC’s website, and Ben Hayward, who has more than 15 years’ experience covering football in Spain.
The expansion of the team comes after the site attracted an audience of almost 5m for its coverage of this summer’s World Cup.
