Tony Gallagher returns to Daily Mail
The Daily Mail has appointed former The Daily Telegraph editor Tony Gallagher as joint deputy editor alongside Jon Steafal.
Gallagher left the Telegraph in January after four years, following a restructuring by editor-in-chief Jason Seiken.
Gallagher is a former news editor and assistant editor of the Daily Mail who left the paper to join the Telegraph in 2006, becoming editor in 2009.
